The Avi Vest is a life saving device designed to increase the individuals’s volume in the event of an avalanche. This will help the avalanche victim to stay on the surface during the avalanche. The Avi Vest will not protect you from injury or death caused by trauma, misuse or poor decisions. The safest way to avoid being injured in an avalanche is to avoid being caught. Please check your local avalanche advisory before entering avalanche terrain.

- The Avi Vest utilizes compressed air in an aluminum high pressure gas cylinder.
- EXPLOSION HAZARD: Improper use, filling, storage or disposal of the cylinder may result in personal injury, death or property damage. Please see cylinder for additional warnings.
- DO NOT MODIFY THE AVI VEST. Any modification of the Avi Vest may cause the device to function improperly and will void all warranties.
- Keep sharp objects away from the bladder area of the Avi Vest!
- For use in emergency situations involving moving snow only!
TRANSPORTATION
Due to the high pressure gas cylinder utilized in the design of the Avi Vest, air travel may be prohibited or restricted. US Department of Transportation Regulations require specific training to ship the Avi Vest with filled cylinder.
